Location Scouting



This is one of the locations I could potentially use for my poster. This could be used as it is a key landmark in the regional area and it is easy to get to. There are a lot of different areas which I can get a good shot of the bridge like level but far away or down below to either the left or the right. I won't have to necessarily worry about parking as the bridge itself is near the City Centre which is a very short walk.  





This is another potential landmark that I could use for my poster. This is probably one of the most famous landmarks in the area. It is also a very short walk from the City Centre and even closer to the bridge which I could also potentially use for my poster. However it may be difficult to get a good shot of the stadium itself as some of the best shots taken are either inside the ground or up above as a drone has been used. 


This is another landmark I could use for my poster. This location is more difficult to get to however I think that the shot itself would be very good for my poster. This landmark is probably one of the most stand out ones within the area. The monument can be visible either day or night and I am yet to decide which one would be better for my poster.






Here is another landmark that I could use for my poster. It is harder to get to because of parking measures and the busses. Like Penshaw Monument the photo could be taken at night. I feel like the harder locations to get to will end up being the better pictures taken. Therefore I could take one photo of the landmark that is harder to get to and one landmark that is easier to get to.




This is another landmark which I could potentially use for my regional identity project. This may turn out to be a good photo however it is unlikely that I will use this landmark as it is just a thought. This landmark is difficult to get to and I feel like I will struggle for an angle for the final photo. I feel as if I will struggle to find a position in order to take the photo and for the bridge to be in frame. 




This is a picture of Roker beach that is very close to the pier which I am also considering for my print advert. Like the pier it is difficult to get to however I feel as if it may be worth it for one of the print adverts as I am planning on making two print adverts. This photo will work well with the pier as they are pretty much next to each other. Therefore the pictures will go together as they both resemble a beach. I will create a flat plan to see how this looks and analyze how it rivals the other flat plans that I have created.

  Pitch Presentation I   created a pitch presentation on google slides which explains points such as my idea, my task and client research. I have received feedback on my pitch what I made. I have been told what I need to do to develop my idea which will make my final product turn out better overall. I need to go to more than one location to take photos. I also need to make them link together which I think is a straight forward task. This is so it links to the project which is 'who am I' and it doesn't come across as an advert for tourists. Finally I need to come up with a tagline that will stand out on my poster.

Flat Plans

Flat Plan For the flat plan I will use PowerPoint to create a rough outline on what my print advert will look like. I will only show things such as the shape of the print advert and where on the page the pictures will go so I may have to use either a photo from google or a symbol to show where they will be placed. I will also have to show my the tagline will be placed on the print advert. I am creating a flat plan so I can come up with a brief idea of what my print advert will look like. I may need to make more than one flat plan depending on how I feel about the designs. This is the first draft of what my print adverts could potentially look like. I like this type of design as the landmarks are clear to see and the slogan stands out. I will probably use these types of angles when I take the photos myself as the long shot covers the majority of the landmark and will be more visible on the print advert.
