Flat Plan

For the flat plan I will use PowerPoint to create a rough outline on what my print advert will look like. I will only show things such as the shape of the print advert and where on the page the pictures will go so I may have to use either a photo from google or a symbol to show where they will be placed. I will also have to show my the tagline will be placed on the print advert. I am creating a flat plan so I can come up with a brief idea of what my print advert will look like. I may need to make more than one flat plan depending on how I feel about the designs.

This is the first draft of what my print adverts could potentially look like. I like this type of design as the landmarks are clear to see and the slogan stands out. I will probably use these types of angles when I take the photos myself as the long shot covers the majority of the landmark and will be more visible on the print advert.

These are the same locations as the last design however the photos have been taken at night. This is a potential option for me to do however I feel like the print advert would look better if the pictures are taken at day time as they stand out better and there are more fonts to choose from if the photos aren't dark. I don't really like the camera angle that has been used for the bridge as most of the lights are covering the bridge itself and taking it up most of the picture.

For this design I have decided to try out two different landmarks to see how they would look. This is what I need to do in order to decide on a final product design. I like the shots of these landmarks however I don't think that they go together. Maybe they could if I was to take the perfect photo of them but it would be really difficult to get especially the stadium as it is very difficult to get a good shot of the outside of the stadium. Most of the more recognizable shots are taken by people with drones that can view the inside of the stadium or by professional photographers with access to the inside of the stadium.

I really like this design as the photos that are taken are effective and a similar shot that I would take if I was to use these landmarks for my print advert. The most important reason I like this design is that the images go together. The long shots take up the entire landmark and I feel as if I will be able to find a spot in order to do so.  

This is the final design of flat plans. I really like this design as both of these landmarks are close together and they both have connation's of the beach. I feel as if it outmatches most of the flat plans that I have created simply because of the resemblance between the 2 pictures. I feel like I may use a long shot when taking a photo of the pier instead of a close up as the entire landmark. I am confident that this will be one of the final print adverts.
